Wintersteiger Shuttle 3C:
State of the art of automation.
The shuttle 3C offers full automation and enormous
time savings. During the servicing process, the operator is
able to do other jobs. Despite its complex functionality and
high degree of automation, the machine is very simple and
easy to operate.
Self serve. The shuttle 3C
automatically feeds up to 6 individual skis. The pre-sorting
occurs according to ski length and width. Every ski can be
serviced regardless of its top surface. Using the feed
system, skis can be fed independently, one or more times,
over the grinding unit and at the end of the process, they
will be transferred to the final stage for removal.
For all tastes! Flexibility of the shuttle 3C
is a key feature. The modular concept of the shuttle 3C
extends from the basic disc shuttle 3C to the ultra
modern grinding path - requiring only one run through of
each ski - of the jet shuttle 3C. The modular machines can
be connected for your future needs.
A grind with a bite. The oscillation of the 200 mm
wide grindstone greatly increases the edge life and it can
be turned off at any time. In order to meet the individual
needs for bases and slopes, the surface can be variously
structured using a diamond and the computer guided grinding
process.
All bases are not equal. In addition to the proven
WINTERSTEIGER structures, (linear, crossed and diagonally
crossed) the shuttle 3C computer guided grinding
process also allows new race-tested structures such as arrow
structures, V-structures and wave structures.
A grind with even more bite. The servo-pneumatic
and the edge grind make the shuttle 3C into a
multi-functional servicing station for alpine and shaped
skis. Plastic tips or not, the grinding of the tip area is
no longer a problem. With the help of the pressure
adjustment on the ski geometry using the servo-pneumatic, an
even grind level is provided over the entire ski length,
even on strongly curved, shaped skis. This gives an optimum
grinding result for all ski models.
A profile with an edge. Through the innovative
ceramic-disc procedure, both the side edge as well as the
base edge will attain an optimum grind result. This reveals
itself in a precise edge geometry, a precise edge angle, and
an absolutely smooth edge surface over the entire ski
length. All relevant edge combinations are adjustable for
skiers and carvers, and they allow you to fulfill various
customer wishes. The grind using the self-sharpening ceramic
disc wheels gives your customers pleasure in carving and
skiing, and security even on hard and icy slopes. In
addition, the sharpness of the edges lasts longer.
The ski that rests, rusts! During the edge process,
the rust is taken off the edges and tips and tails of the
skis, and in the transition to the disc grind, the edges are
polished.
Those who wax will get there. With the drying of
the ski, the shuttle 3C offers the best conditions
for an optimal waxing job. Even when things heat up, the
shuttle 3C stays cool and gives the best possible
results during hot waxing and structure brushing. The
pre-warming of the ski base allows for a better waxing
application in order to meet the demands of the highly
functional, patented fleece procedure. Changing the wax is
made easy through the special outlet device and the holder
that collects the debris. With the assistance of a structure
brush, the excess wax is removed and the stone ground
structure is uncovered.
Shiny views. The proven Scotchbrite disc takes
care of a perfect polish. The shuttle 3C completes
the first class ski service with the deburring of the edges
and the polishing of the base, whereby the unit oscillates
between the skis. The ski can then be taken out from the bin
that is designed to hold up to 6 ski. einblage, die für 6
Stück konzipiert ist.
An easy touch! The operation of the shuttle 3C
occurs through a color monitor with touchscreen technology.
Using an easy to understand menu, the operator is led
through the program. Touchscreen technology makes the
selection of various working parameters quick and easy. A
complete servicing operation or individual servicing
components can be saved and recalled at any time. The exact
reproduction of specific grinds and base structures is also
possible. Using the advantages of working data registration,
items such as working hours and number of skis are also
provided.
